I collaborated on an interior architecture project focused on redesigning the emergency unit layout at the Mount Sinai Hialeah Emergency Center & Specialty Care.

 

My partner and I aimed to create a seamless interaction between patients and healthcare providers by researching effective design strategies. Guided by principles of hierarchical function blending, open visibility, and dynamic flexibility, we envisioned a space that could adapt to emergencies and evolving medical needs while incorporating thoughtful patterns in the layout.

 

This project calls attention to the importance of design in enhancing healthcare experiences for the patient and healthcare provider.
