E'spirit de Haiti was a team project where we were tasked to create a visually engaging space -- to merge the communities of new Miami's Design District with old Little Haiti.

Little Haiti suffers from acts of gentrification from the surrounding neighborhoods. To make a stand, we created a culturally rich and vibrant retail distillery, paying homage to the successful liquor businesses in the country of Haiti.

 

The hope is to blend the two neighborhoods together in order to educate those of Haiti's traditions and practices.
